Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Palate mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

User Consent

By creating an account or using the App, you acknowledge and consent to the following:

• You consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You consent to receiving service-related communications, including account notifications and updates.
• You consent to our storage, processing, and display of any content you post, in accordance with these Terms.
• You acknowledge that your continued use of the App after any updates to these Terms or our Privacy Policy constitutes renewed consent to those changes.
• You acknowledge and agree that Palate maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behavior or content, and that violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Description of Service

Palate is a social platform that allows users to:

• Discover and share food experiences
• Find restaurants and read reviews
• Connect with other food enthusiasts
• Post photos and reviews of dishes

User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts

Account Responsibilities

• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

Acceptable Use

You May:

• Share photos and reviews of food
• Follow other users and interact with content
• Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Report inappropriate content

You May Not:

• Post offensive, illegal, or harmful content
• Spam or harass other users
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Attempt to hack or disrupt the service
• Use the app for commercial purposes without permission

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

• You retain ownership of content you post
• You grant us a license to use your content to provide the service
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to post content

Our Content

• The App and its features are owned by Palate
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content
• Our trademarks and logos are protected

Privacy

Prohibited Content

The following content is prohibited:

• Nudity or sexually explicit material
• Violence or graphic content
• Hate speech or discrimination
• Spam or promotional content

User-Generated Content

Moderation

• We reserve the right to review and remove content
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations
• We are not obligated to monitor all content

Reporting

• Users can report inappropriate content
• We will investigate reports promptly
• We may take action including content removal or account suspension

Disclaimers

Service Availability

• We strive for continuous service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
• We may modify or discontinue features at any time
• We are not responsible for third-party services

• We do not verify all restaurant information

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Termination

By You

• You may delete your account at any time
• Account deletion may not remove all content immediately

By Us

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations
• We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice
• We may terminate accounts that are inactive for extended periods

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the United States.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Palate.
